Multiple Element Revenue Recognition Seminar

KPMG LLP is pleased to invite you to attend a Multiple Element Revenue Recognition Seminar on Friday, March 26. We will facilitate  a discussion regarding ASU 2009-13 (EITF 08-1), “Revenue Arrangements with Multiple Deliverables,” and ASU 2009-14  (EITF 09-3), "Certain Arrangements That Contain Software Elements," including implementation considerations. These accounting standards will bring substantial changes to accounting for multiple element arrangements and generally become effective for arrangements
in fiscal years beginning on or after June 15, 2010, with earlier  adoption permitted.

For this seminar, the target participants are representatives from technology companies or other business services companies that sell bundled solutions that were previously accounted for under EITF 00-21, “Revenue Arrangements with Multiple Deliverables.” Depending on the size of the company, this could include CFOs, controllers, those responsible for revenue recognition, or equivalents. Leading the discussion will be Boston Partner Mark Valentine as well as Tamara Mathis, a partner in our national office and the KPMG member of the EITF working group for these Issues.
